New! MicroPen Evo

If you’ve ever tried MicroNeedling, the new MicroPen Evo is supercharged! This procedure uses a pen with many rotating needles that create thousands of controlled micro-injuries to the skin, which initiates the skin’s natural wound repair process. During this process, collagen production is stimulated which in turn, plumps up the skin in the area treated. This treatment is a great solution for acne or surgical scars, as well as helping to improve the skin’s texture, tone, and color.

It also treats age spots, blackheads, hyperpigmentation, melasma, fine lines, wrinkles and improves the appearance of dull, tired-looking skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, and abdomen – areas of the body that often reveal the most signs of aging and sun damage.

Some minor pinpoint bleeding can occur immediately post-treatment, and the areas treated may be red for a couple of days following, depending on the level of treatment. One of the nice things about the MicroPen Evo is that patients can see a resulting ‘glow’ as soon as the procedure is finished, with more visible changes to the skin developing over the course of several weeks. If your goal is to resolve a specific skin issue, we suggest a series of 3+ treatments every 4-6 weeks.

This month, our MicroPen Evo treatment is $250 (reg. $299).

PRP MicroNeedlin

Actual Patient

Need a little extra help? Try PRP Microneedling with the Micro Pen Evo!

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma, and is an extract of your own blood that contains platelets, growth factors, and active proteins for tissue and injury healing. When you arrive for the procedure, and after the topical anesthetic is applied, one of our nurses will draw 10 cc of blood. This is less than a normal blood draw during routine blood tests. While you relax, the blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the red & white blood cells from the plasma, which usually takes about 5-10 minutes. There is a gel separator in the tube and the red & white blood cells migrate to the bottom of the tube while the platelet-rich plasma rises to the top.

The platelet-rich plasma is then spread on the skin and we use the MicroPen Evo to begin the microneedling procedure. The PRP is introduced into the dermis through the micro-injuries that are made, and it initiates a localized cell response and increased blood flow to the area, which begins the process of building collagen and elastin to repair the damage.

There is very little downtime with PRP Microneedling, and the process creates more vibrancy and tone to the skin due to the growth factors found in the platelets. It also speeds the healing time and production of collagen and elastin due to the increased vascularity that infuses the injured area.

This month, PRP MicroNeedling with the MicroPen Evo is $699 (reg. $799).

Get Ready for the Holidays with Sculptra!

Sculptra before and after

Image via Sculptra Aesthetic

We have never offered a special on Sculptra, until now! Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen. The best part is that the results can last for up to 2 years! Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator and helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles. It works with your body to help revitalize collagen production and helps to restore the skin’s inner structure and volume. As the microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production, and rebuilt collagen strands begin to gradually help restore facial volume and fullness to wrinkles and folds.

It’s important to note that results are not immediate, like most dermal fillers. Since it is your own collagen that is being stimulated and produced, results are gradual usually seen 6 weeks after injection, usually lasting up to 2 years. The treatment regimen is typically 3 injections over the course of three or four months, so now is the perfect time to get started to see results by the holidays.

This month we are offering Sculptra at $695 per vial (reg. $850) with a minimum of 2 vials.

Please note: because Sculptra must be mixed prior to use, we are requiring a $50 deposit upon booking, to be used toward treatment.

Dysport

Dysport

Dysport is an injectable neurotoxin that temporarily improves crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines. It is similar to Botox in that it is injected into targeted areas and prevents the underlying muscle tissue from contracting. The difference between Botox and Dysport is that Dysport has a smaller-sized molecule so the unit measurement is different (1 unit of Dysport is equal to 20 units of Botox), and it spreads to a wider area.

Our price for Dysport is $4 per unit, but this month, if you add it to your Sculptra treatment, we are offering a 20% discount on the Dysport injections. Note: Dysport & Sculptra must be used on the same date at the same appointment, no exceptions!
