Happy July! Isn’t this the slowest, fastest year ever? First of all, we want to thank all of you who have returned to Abbracci Med Spa for services & shopping since our reopening mid-May. We are all so happy to be back to work and it warms our hearts to see your masked smiling faces!
With everyone getting outside a little more lately, we’re all about body treatments this month and have several specials to share with you!
Laser Hair Removal
Our Laser Hair Removal special only happens twice a year! If you’ve been thinking it’s time to try LHR, now is the time to start. If you have had LHR in the past, it might be time for a touch-up. Some popular areas for Laser Hair Removal are the upper lip, chin, underarm, and bikini area. This treatment also works very well on the arms and legs, and many of our patients are athletes that depend on hair-free areas to reduce the effect of drag and to enhance muscle definition.
At Abbracci Med Spa, we use the Lumenis high-speed LightSheer Duet system which is a laser that produces a large beam of highly concentrated light. During the procedure, the laser pulses for a fraction of a second, which allows the hair to absorb the light and heat up. This light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, which damages the hair shaft and bulb, which then interferes with its ability to re-grow.
Depending on the area to be treated, we have two handheld pieces: the LightSheer High-Speed handpiece uses vacuum-assisted technology with laser light to rapidly and comfortably treat large areas (back, chest, legs). The Light Sheer ET handpiece is perfect for smaller areas (face, bikini, underarms).
To be effective, LHR requires several treatments because hair grows in different phases and is not in the same growth stage all over. Also, because the laser targets melanin (the pigment that gives our skin & hair color) people with darker hair have better success than lighter haired individuals.
Our July Laser Hair Removal special are put together in packages of 3 treatment sessions and they must be purchased in these packages.
Why 3 treatment sessions? Because, if you are just getting started, it will take at least 3 monthly sessions to remove the hair from the follicle. After that, you may need periodic touch-ups to keep the area hair-free. Laser hair removal is a great option to prevent & eliminate ingrown hairs and saves you daily or weekly skin sensitivity and irritation, by eliminating the need for shaving or waxing
Once purchased, you have one year to use all three treatments, so this is a great deal if you are just starting out, or to do touch-ups throughout the year.

Venus Legacy
Venus Legacy is a non-invasive body treatment that uses Radio Frequency, Magnetic Pulse Therapy & VeriPulse Technology (a type of deep heat treatment) to achieve great clinical results in skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, fat reduction and the temporary reduction of cellulite.
When the skin is heated during this treatment it causes a reaction in the tissues, and the body is stimulated to heal itself, which causes the growth of new collagen, an elastic fiber that plumps the skin and reduces wrinkles.

Vitamin C Facial
Our most popular facial, the Restorative Vitamin C Facial uses a 4-layer treatment that can change your skin in one application and this treatment is great for all skin types.
The formula includes glycolic acid and vitamin c, both of which provide skin protection and the combination of the two has great anti-aging benefits. It also boasts active enzymes and peptides to promote cellular turnover to brighten, lighten, and tighten your skin.
This month, our Vitamin C Facial is priced at $130 (reg. $150).
