Abbracci Med Spa February Special: IPL Photofacial & Dysport/Restylane Combo

Welcome February, we love you! Did you have a chance to take advantage of our January Laser Hair Removal specials? We hope so! If not, the package specials are something we offer twice a year, so keep a lookout sometime this summer for another special package price.

IPL Photofacial

We always like to offer our IPL Photofacial during the winter months, and if you didn’t get a chance to try it in October, now is your chance. Why is IPL a good procedure in the winter? Because IPL (which stands for Intense Pulsed Light) is a laser treatment that uses light and heat to penetrate the skin, which causes blood vessels below the skin to constrict, and collagen is produced to plump up the dermis. IPL treatments are known to destroy hyperpigmentation, coarse skin, spider veins, redness, and fine lines. It also works very well on rosacea.

Because of this intense light & heat, you will want to avoid any unprotected sun exposure for at least 30 days after your IPL Photofacial session. This is one of those procedures that you may notice your skin redder, and spottier before it gets better. This is because age spots and sun damage will appear to come to the surface before they naturally slough off. After about 7-10 days, you will start to notice a much clearer and calmer complexion*, and after about 15 -20 days, you will glow!*

Because this is a laser treatment, all IPL Photofacials are performed by one of our registered nurses or nurse practitioners.

Prices for IPL per Treatment this month are as follows:

Face: $199 (regularly $225)

Face/Neck: $250 (regularly $300)

Face/Chest: $350 (regularly $399)

Face/Neck/Chest: $350 (regularly $425)

Arms: $250 (regularly $275)

Hands: $100 (regularly $125)

That’s not all we have for you this month!

We are also offering an outstanding special on Dysport with a Restylane add-on. When you purchase 60 units of Dysport, you will receive $125 off any syringe in the Restylane family of fillers. This includes Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, and Restylane Silk.

If you’re unfamiliar with Dysport, it is an injectable dermal filler that temporarily improves crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines. It is similar to Botox in this respect, as it is a neurotoxin that is injected into targeted areas and prevents the underlying muscle tissue from contracting. The difference between Botox and Dysport is that Dysport has a smaller-sized molecule so the unit measurement is different (1 unit of Dysport is equal to 20 units of Botox), and it spreads to a wider area. Our regular price for Dysport is $4 per unit, this month we are charging $3 per unit as part of the February special.

What’s the difference between the fillers in the Restylane family?

Restylane is a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid that is specifically made to mimic your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, and helps to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds (the lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth) and marionette lines (the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward your chin). Restylane is also used to enhance the lip area for fullness and definition, as well as under the eyes in the tear trough area. Restylane is regularly priced at $495 per syringe.

Restylane Refyne is a dermal filler that offers a subtle enhancement for lines and wrinkles around the mouth. This formula is a little thicker than Restylane Defyne, which treats mild-to-moderate marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Restylane Refyne is normally offered at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Defyne is a dermal filler that is used to address deep smile and laugh lines, specifically the marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Restylane Defyne uses hyaluronic acid, which is a natural ingredient to plump these areas. Restylane Defyne is regularly priced at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Lyft is a dermal filler that is used to restore lost volume and fullness to mid and lower part of the face, specifically the cheek area, while also smoothing out smile lines in the nasolabial folds. Restylane Lyft also uses hyaluronic acid in a clear gel that is cross-linked to delay the breakdown by skin enzymes, which gives you a longer lasting result. Restylane Lyft is regularly priced at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Silk is a dermal filler specifically designed to add volume to the lip area, and smooth out fine lines around the mouth. It is one of the thinnest fillers and enhances the volume of the lips and minimizes vertical lip lines, which results in a more youthful appearance. Restylane Silk is regularly priced at $649 per syringe.

If you haven’t had an injectable treatment, a consultation with one of our medical directors, Dr. Abrishamian or Dr. Vournas, is required before the procedures. This is to ensure that you are a good candidate for these treatments and they will also help design a treatment plan specifically tailored to your concerns.
